Seal Tite launched its operations based upon an inventive solution and mechanical skill. In 1970, seventeen year old Mickey Werner designed and built a mobile pipe testing truck. Partnering with his brother, Terry, they worked tirelessly, expanding the business.
The Werner’s observed first hand just how corrosive injection and disposal wells can be. As they conducted hydrostatic tests on customers’ pipe strings, thousands of blown joints were cast aside.
Mickey envisioned a lining system that could stop corrosive downhole elements from destroying pipe. Soon, Mickey began product development. What emerged became Seal Tite’s patented lining system. Production began in Independence, KS. and operations remain here since. From the company’s inception through today, Seal Tite remains among the finest lined pipe solutions for injection and disposal wells.
Little Chief Industries acquired Seal Tite July 15, 2020. Continuing collaboration between new ownership and the founders ensures its customers and distributors continue enjoying excellent products, field services, and the security of its industry leading product warranty.
